Just in time for the February Break, Wide Open Children’s Theatre is opening a brand-new puppet production by Saskatoon’s Aaron Marie Nepoose. Piyisew Iskwesis or I Am Thunderbird Girl is based on a traditional Cree tale about a young girl in search of her destiny and the friends who help her along the way. The show will be in English but will feature Cree words. Tickets are $12 – $17

It’s a chance to show the love this Valentine’s Day. A special date night is up for grabs with The Steadies frontman Earl Pereira. He’s got all his favourite love songs ready to go as well as original tunes. This show is truly from the heart as Pereira will be donating the proceeds towards his father’s funeral expenses. Efren Pereira was a beloved community member who passed away suddenly on January 27th. A little serenade and helping one of Saskatoon’s own, tickets are $10 each.
