Sum Theatre’s Theatre in the Park is back in Saskatoon outdoor theatre adventure with The Colour of the Town. This is the 14th season for this live professional performance the whole family can enjoy together with stops in neighbourhood parks throughout Saskatchewan. This year’s play was collectively created from a story by playwright Jenna “JB” Berenbaum. It follows the people of Taupe Town who are challenged by their young residents to look beyond their current colour preference and embrace all the possibilities. It’s a lesson in democracy full of original music and giant puppetry that we’ve all come to know from this annual summer tradition.
