You will be blown away by the talent we have right here in our community the minute the show opens. The Fireside Singers are bringing The Hunchback of Notre Dame to life on stage in a full scale musical. The group is comprised of more than 80 performers who all volunteer their time to mount this production. This is the classic tale of Quasimodo as he searches for his place in the world. Tickets are $44.

Kinsmen Park

It’s a huge milestone for this festival jam packed full of fun. The Nutrien Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan is ramping up for a weekend full of fun here in the city as the festival celebrates its 30th birthday. From hula-hooping street entertainers to people who can squeeze themselves into teeny tiny spaces while cracking a joke, you’ll find it all here. Of course there’s always the Kindergarden for the preschool set as well as a show just for them called Big Buggy World. The tried and true favourites like the Lego build, the fossil find and circus arts are sure to keep your kids busy. Day passes are $10 and will get you into all the shows.

Capitol Music Club

Nothing better than three concerts in one. The Capitol Music Club has an amazing roster of crossover talent for you this Friday. For the bargain price of $10 you can hear the cutting edge music of Pontiex, Etienne Fletcher and Rayannah. This show will bring you folk, dance and rock sounds. It’s a great night out.

Lovely Ladies      Tuesday

Harmony is the name of the game when it comes to Canadian trio the Good Lovelies. It’s a blend of folk and pop sensibilities and the groups latest album, Shapeshifters is a very radio friendly work that will have you swaying along. The Good Lovelies are on tour across Canada and stopping in Saskatoon this week. Tickets are $33.
