Saskatoon’s favourite improv comedy troupe is back with a premise that’s sure to please. They want suggestions from the audience on things that will help our U.S. neighbours adjust to life in this country. Don’t miss this hilarious show and remember the one rule of improv, you always say yes! Tickets are $10-$12.

The Bassment
Michael Occhipinti & The Sicilian Project is a show you don’t want to miss. This is a beautiful blend of old world, of new, of sicilian folk music, electric guitars, funk and reggae. The Sicilian Project has been all over the world and now Saskatoon audiences will get a chance to heat up the night with this show. Along with an all star band, Occhipinti is featuring Italian jazz vocalist Pilar. Tickets are $25 – $35.

Deck The Halls Sun. – Nov. 26
Western Development Museum
It’s a chance to kick the Christmas season off right and many take it as the official signal that it’s ok to dig out that box of tinsel. The Festival of Trees is back for another beautiful run at the Western Development Museum. This year’s theme is Nature’s Magical Christmas. Along with the regular ticket which will get you in to see the trees, wreaths and other holiday displays, there are special feature entertainment nights scheduled. There’s the Fire & Ice Gala, Brunch with Santa and even a feature show by Saskatchewan’s own Rory Allen with his tribute to Elvis. If you have little ones, be sure to check out the Minions Dance Party each day as well as a special Princess Tea Party. Tickets are $4-$10 and a special family rate is $25.All proceeds go to the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.

The Longbranch
Get ready for a rockin’ good time as Saskatoon’s own Aarron Rigden takes the stage at The Longbranch this weekend. You may know Rigden from his music but also from his work backstage trying to grow our country music scene. Rigden is on the Board of Directors for the Saskatchewan Country Music Association as well as a host of the Country Music Open Mic Night in Saskatoon. Rigden is working on an album right now so there’s bound to be some fresh tunes for you to enjoy. There are no tickets, just pay cover at the door.
