Two Indians           Tonight – June 9

Studio 914

The final show of Gordon Tootoosis Nīkānīwin Theatre’s 2018/2019 season is one of a family torn apart by tragedy. Two Indigenous women Win and Roe live in very different worlds one in the city and the other on reserve. As they reunite after years apart, they try to find middle ground when confronting family dynamics and political issues. This show was written by Falen Johnson in response to the Idle No More movement. Although the topics may be heavy, there are some really beautiful, light-hearted moments. Tickets are $20 – $25.
