It’s a chance to relive your childhood and share those memories with your kids and even grandkids. Sharon Hampson & Bram Morrison are on a farewell tour. The longstanding children’s performers, formerly known as Sharon, Lois & Bram created iconic hits like Skinamarink, One Elephant and Peanut Butter. Their first show Thursday night sold out so quickly, they added a second show and tickets are still available for $25 – $35.

With Glowing Hearts            Fri. – May 12

Dancing Sky Theatre – Meacham

A story of sacrifice, strength and sisterhood is hitting the stage this weekend at Dancing Sky Theatre in Meacham. With Glowing Hearts by Jennifer Wynne Webber is based on true life events that began the women’s labour movement in Canada. This is an amazing cast that features music by Eliza Mary Doyle. It’s a great evening out just for the show but there are also lunch and dinner options before the show. Tickets are $30 – $56.50.

Fans of the SSO are in for a beautiful night of powerful music and fond farewells. Principle flutist Sarah Yunji Moon will take her final bow with the orchestra as the guest for this show playing Departures by Christos Hatzis. Also on the program is what is widely thought of as the greatest symphony out there Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 in E flat Major, Op. 55. Tickets are $34 – $73.

The Bassment

She’s been away from the small stage for a while working in theatre and television but Saskatoon’s singer/songwriter is back this weekend. Laverty has been in collaboration mode over the past year working with Dancing Sky Theatre, The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation to create music for various projects. She’ll be back on stage at The Bassment performing her hits as well as a few new tunes. Tickets are $25 – $35.
