Saturday
TCU Place
The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra is once again bringing the magic of Disney to the concert hall with a live orchestra experience. The 1991 animated classic Beauty and the Beast plays on the big screen overhead as the SSO musicians provide the soundtrack. This show is the perfect way to introduce the whole family to the live orchestral experience. The tickets went fast for this one at $54 – $123 and officially, it’s sold out. But, I have seen postings on social media this week for folks who’s plans have changed so you might still be able to grab a few.

Prairieland Park
Do you have a kid curious about animals and the natural world? Head down to Prairieland Park this weekend for the Saskatoon Wildlife Festival. It’s your chance to hang out with a porcupine, meet a sloth, and snuggle the baby kangaroos. My kids loved their visit and yours will too. Me, I wasn’t super keen on the reptiles but it was all pretty cool to see. Tickets are $33 – $23. There are special experience packages as well where you can really get hands-on.
