A world of enchantment awaits as Cirque Musica presents Holiday Wonderland. This is a holiday show filled with the magic and wonder of circus performers with classic holiday tunes. There will be aerialists, musicians, acrobats and jugglers all to get you into the spirit of the season. Tickets are $28 – $68.

Only a handful of tickets are left for Michael Kaeshammer’s holiday show. Thursday already sold out but Friday you still have a chance to see this master pianist on his Christmas tour. Kaeshammer will put his own pop, jazz spin on classic holiday tunes. Tickets are $60 – $70.

The Refinery  

Artists from all over our city will be gathering at The Refinery this weekend for Burnt Thicket Theatre and On The Boards Staging Company’s Get Up for Christmas Presence: A Holiday Cabaret! The event will be full of music, theatre and song by artists like Paulina Salisbury, Amanda Trapp, Tim Bratton and Wyndom Thiessen. Tickets are pay what you can and the proceeds go directly to the artists performing that night.

Miracle on 34th Street

Persephone Theatre                                  

Just in time for the holidays, Persephone Theatre takes us on a trip of nostalgia with Miracle on 34th Street. Based on the 1947 film, this story follows Kris Kringle, a man called in to fill in for the intoxicated Santa in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. When Mr. Kringle makes claims to be the real Santa Claus, his sanity is called into question. This is a heartwarming classic for the whole family and stars many local actors including several children from right here in Saskatoon. Tickets are going fast and run $30 – $47.

BHP Enchanted Forest

Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park        

They’ve been lighting up the Forestry Farm Park for 26 years this year and the BHP Enchanted Forest is tradition for my family. This year there are three new light displays added to the annual favourites. Santa & Frozen characters visits Dec. 3rd. Tickets are $10 per person or $35 per car.

Festival of Trees                           

Now – Sat.       

Western Development Museum   

Get your decorating inspiration from people who think about the holidays year-round. You might even want to forget about decorating your own tree and buy one with all the proceeds going to the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation. The annual Festival of Trees is on right now. Stroll the streets of Boomtown admiring the trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses done up to the nines. The kids can grab a picture with Santa or their favourite princess and you can snack on those tasty gingerbread cookies. Admission is $7 – $14.

Glow Saskatoon

Prairieland Park         

Light up your Christmas with Glow Saskatoon. Make sure you bring your camera and the whole family to the indoor holiday light festival. As you wander through the light display, the kids can take part in a scavenger hunt following hidden clues to help Santa find his missing presents. If you find them all, you get a prize. There will be visits with Santa, appearances by the Disney princesses and plenty of local music featured on the entertainment stage. Tickets are $16 – $22 with group rates available.

Do you love holiday tunes? Miss having the school concerts to kick off your season? Take a break and enjoy school choirs from all over our city perform for you. The concerts are over the lunch hour and it’s a tradition that’s been going strong for more than 50 years. This event is free to attend.
