There’s nothing like stories told around a fire and the artistic team at Dancing Sky Theatre is doing just that with Fireside Stories IV: Hear the Trees. This is an intimate outdoor prairie performance of stories celebrating the relationship between people and the trees that surround us. Four artists have created works for the show inspired by nature and community. There are matinee and evening performances and a picnic lunch is available to purchase before the show. Tickets are $25.

Ukrainian Day in the Park

Kiwanis Memorial Park

Get ready for the 25th Anniversary of Ukrainian Day in the Park. This is Saskatoon’s largest Ukrainian festival featuring cultural performances by many of the major dance groups, folk band Hutsul Drive, an artisan market, beer gardens and plenty of food vendors.  Don’t worry, there WILL be perogies! Bring a lawnchair and celebrate along with our community. Admission is free.

Trucktastic Children’s Expo

Prairieland Park

Do you have a little who’s obsessed with tractors, garbage trucks, and excavators? If you do, you’re going to want to head down to Prairieland Park this weekend for Family Service Saskatoon’s Trucktastic. Get up close to more than 70 pieces of heavy machinery, sit in the driver’s seat, talk to the operators, and find out how it all works. Family passes are $36 and it’s all to support the family programming in our community.

Blue Umbrella

Amigos Cantina

Saskatoon supergroup Blue Umbrella will be celebrating the release of it’s debut album Recklessly Yours. The group features family doctor and former NDP leader Ryan Meili, Sam Corbett (Sheepdogs, NUTANA), Tyson McShane (Slow Down Molasses, Portals), Luke Ryalls (Fjords), and Burke Barlow (Deep Dark Woods). This is a passion project for these musicians and you can get in on the celebration of their new creation. Saskatchewan country musician Lauchlan Neville will open the show. Tickets are $22 – $24.

WEGO 2026

Remai Modern

Get ready for a celebration of art, music, dance and community at the Remai Modern’s WEGO 2026. This is a festival with the whole family in mind as the artists take over with performances and displays inside the gallery and on the grounds outside. There will be storytelling, magic, music, games, crafts, and cultural performances throughout the day. The event is free and it’s your chance to explore all forms of creativity. On Monday there will be a special low-sensory festival so everyone can get in on the fun.
