You still have a few days left for theatre adventure at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival. The 10-day festival features 26 productions from local, national and international artists…You’re sure to find one to tickle your fancy. There are shows for more mature audiences, family friendly performances and everything in between. Along with the indoor stage shows, take in the games, craft making, busking performances, food trucks and beer gardens on the festival site in W.E. Graham Park. Don’t miss the Fringe Encore Sunday night with a one night only performance of Chase Padgett’s How To Play Guitar (Poorly). Single show tickets are $14 – $17 and you can get a 10-show pass for $150.

Prairieland Park

Time to take one last ride at the Saskatoon Ex. Take in the games, music, and so much more happening today at Prairieland Park. Tonight Mother Mother closes out the grandstand and Psycho Love has a string of shows at the Kickin’ Horse Saloon. New this year is Bourbon Street North filled with the sounds of New Orleans music and I’m sure the Crawdaddios will make an appearance. Thrill seekers will enjoy the Mega Drop, Orbitor, and Downdraft. There’s plenty of rides for the little ones as well. If you’re looking for tasty treats, new food options this year include cookies and cream Korean corn dogs, garlic and parm twisted pickles, and the Area 51 taco burger. General admission is $15 – $25 and this includes entry into the grandstand for shows, Ride-All-Day wristbands are $60 and there are bundles available.

Join Free Flow Dance Theatre Company on a nighttime adventure under the stars this weekend. This immersive dance experience uses LED lights and illuminated costumes to take visitors on a trip to far off galaxies in Out of This World. It’s a sci-fi dreamscape filled with wonder, suspense, and a touch of the unknown. Tickets are $12 – $25.

Lion’s Arena

A nation-wide celebration of Filipino Heritage and Culture is making a stop in Saskatoon. The event is filled with dance, cultural demonstrations, music and food promoting Philippine heritage. There will be appearances by Mrs. Canada Universe 2026 Jasmin Esquivel a singing competition, and live performances by many artists. It all kicks off with a parade Saturday morning.

Water Circus – Nautilus

The circus is in town! Cirque Italia brings Water Circus – Nautilus to the SaskTel Centre grounds for a week full of high-flying fun. Acrobats and theatre performers will do their thing on a custom water stage. This is North America’s largest travelling spectacle and you can see the magic in person. Tickets are $25 – $85.

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan

The Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival is underway in our city. This season offers two beloved tales from The Bard with a twist. Julius Caesar is hitting the stage with a modern day flare as Brutus, a politician on the rise, is torn between his hunger for power and his loyalty to Caesar. Much Ado About Nothing is a swashbuckling trip to the island of Messina where we meet Don Pedro and his band of pirates enjoying the spoils of their treasure trove until young Claudio falls in love with Hero, the daughter of Messina’s leader. These shows are a beloved tradition in Saskatoon and you can get tickets for $35 – $54.
