Australian folk rock singer Kim Churchill is back out on the road in support of his latest album It’s Lovely To Have You Here and he’s making a stop in Saskatoon. Churchill  has been touring the globe with his new songs and stories about his nomadic existence. American singer songwriter Mia Kelly will open the show. Tickets are $24 – $41

The Refinery

Live Five Independent Theatre and sorry/grateful Productions presents Stephen Sondheim’s musical Assassins. The story tells about a group of people through history, like John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald, who attempted to assassinate American presidents. The actual events and characters are shown through meeting to play a sinister carnival game. The musical is a multiple Tony Award winner and you can see it for $27 – $32.

The Sheepdogs

Hometown rockers The Sheepdogs are crossing the country on the Out All Night Tour and stopping for a show at the Coors Event Centre. There’s no place like home and the band will share tunes from its latest album Keep Out of the Storm. Tickets are $57.

You got to love a double bill! Two powerhouse Saskatchewan country music performers are teaming up for a night of incredible music. Brad Johner and Donny Parenteau will be sharing the stage thier music and the stories behind the songs in this songwriters’ circle type event. There are two shows, 2:00pm and 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 – $35.

26 Doctors

26 Doctors is a one man show by actor Sugith Varughese that tells the story of his life as a South Asian Canadian trying to make it in  showbiz. Varughese was born in Saskatoon into a family of doctors and attended the University of Saskatchewan to become one until he got bit by the acting bug. Funnily enough, as his acting career took off, Varughese found himself playing a doctor time and time again in shows like Transplant. It’s a story of family legacy, type casting, and cultural expectations. Tickets are $43.

It’s her first solo tour in decades and guitarist Romi Mayes is stopping in Saskatoon. This is a show that’s a mix of her greatest hits including tunes from her latest release Small Victories. See this multiple award-winning roots and blues musician. Tickets are $28 – $38.
