Sing Along Sound of Music
Friday
Broadway Theatre
It’s a movie musical that brought us tunes like My Favourite Things and who can forget that opening helicopter shot as Maria ran through the hills singing The Sound of Music. This year marks 60 years for The Sound of Music and to celebrate, the Broadway Theatre is hosting a special Sing Along screening of the movie starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. This is a chance for you to dress up (curtain outfits optional) and raise your voice as you watch the iconic film. Local performers Gil & Wil are going to kick off the evening and help you warm up your voice so you can join in on the sing along fun. Tickets are $20.
