Live Five’s +1 show for it’s 20^th season is odd & entertaining. Bat Brains comes from the creative mind of Sam Kruger and it was a hit with audiences on the Fringe circuit a couple of years ago. It’s an exploration of mental illness using vampires. Characterized as “part Dracula, part Mr. Bean, part Pee-Wee’s Playhouse gone wrong”. Kruger taps into their own personal experience to create a story about Scud a vampire who is afraid of his own thoughts. He hides from the world spending most of his time in bathrooms. This show uses mime, clowning and dance to tell the story. Tickets aer $25 – $30.
