Brit’s Picks Nov. 2 – 9
Heathers: The Musical
Thurs. – Sat.
Broadway Theatre
Saskatoon’s Sparrow Theatre is taking a stab at the musical adaptation of a 1989 comedy all about teenaged angst. Heathers: The Musical is the story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy teen who works her way into a ruthless clique at her high school, the Heathers. Only one misstep finds her at the other end of the pecking order. This is a decidedly mature show including themes of teen sex, suicide, homophobia and violence but it’s still a comedy. Tickets are officially sold out but you never know, peoples’ plans change so double check on social media. Tickets are $30.
