The Revolutionists is the latest play set to take the main stage at Persephone. This comedy set at the height of the French Revolution will feature a powerhouse cast and incredible costumes. A powerful movie based on true-life events of one woman’s fight to clear her husband’s name. Marlene follows the journey of Marlene Truscott who worked to find errors in the evidence that lead to the acquittal of husband Steven Truscott nearly 50 years after he was convicted of murder. At 14, Steven was found guilty of killing 12-year-old Lynne Harper in Ontario in 1959. He was granted parole in 1969 and had always maintained his innocence. Tickets for the movie are $9 – $12

If you like the bad boy, hard rock, big hair of the 80s and 90s, you’re not going to want to miss All Bad Things. The Mötley Crüe tribute band formed of four die-hard Crue fans will hit the Saskatoon stage to bring you all the leather, eyeliner and tunes that made this band legendary. Tickets are $28 and they sell out fast.

Draggins Rod & Custom Car Show

This year marks the 60th anniversary for the Draggins Rod & Custom Car Show. It just wouldn’t be Easter weekend without some classic cars and a whole lot of fun. Hot rods, motorcycles, antique cars, and custom trucks will all be on display as the owners compete for cash prizes. There will be Hot Wheels cars for all the kids. All the money raised from these car shows goes to local charities. Tickets are $10 – $20.

Imagine Dragons

They are one of the biggest rock bands on the planet and Imagine Dragons is coming for you! The rock/pop band is out on the road for its Mercury World Tour and headed to Saskatoon this weekend. This is a group that brings hits like Believer, Thunder and Whatever It Takes to the table, and they are in heavy rotation on my workout playlist. Tickets are $66 – $200+

Arctic: A Man Under the Ice

Midtown Plaza        

It’s an immersive experience where you join the team at base camp and go on an adventure through the Arctic with Mario Cyr as your guide. Cyr is known for his documentary work and wildlife films and this exhibit gives you a view of a place many of us may never visit. A Man Under the Ice takes you on a dive to see walruses, polar bears and the majestic northern lights using more than 300 images taken on Cyr’s dives in a 360-degree projection theatre. A great trip with the kids or a date night. Tickets run $28 – $38.

Saskatchewan Country Music Awards

Award winning songwriter and recording artist Brock Andrews and radio host Christy Beggs will be handing out the hardware for the 2022 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards. This will be a virtual party, and everyone’s invited. There will be performances by the Hunter Brothers, Tenille Arts, Alex Runions and so many more. Celebrate Saskatchewan’s country music scene and cheer on your favourites. It’s all free for you to watch online.

Tania Miller and Jane Coop

The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra welcomes world acclaimed conductor Tania Miller back home to Saskatchewan with a concert that’s sure to please. Miller, originally from Foam Lake was the first female music director of a major Canadian orchestra in 2003 and has been sharing her talents from Seattle to South Korea ever since. Tchaikovsky, Canadian composer Andrew Balfour and Mozart performed by one of our country’s most distinguished pianists Jane Coop are all on the program. This performance is live at TCU Place and streamed on ConcertStream.tv. Tickets are $36 – $80.
