The Bassment
The Bassment is finally opening back up and the club is kicking off its 2020 season with one of Saskatoon’s favourite showman. Martin Janovsky is a master on the keys and with his blend of show tunes and stories it’s sure to be a great evening. The first show sold out so quickly, they had to add a second. Masks are mandatory at the Bassment and you need to reserve your table to attend. Tickets are $20 – $25.

Capitol Music Club
If you like a little twang in your rock, you’re going to want to check out the Capitol Friday night. This band has been called Neo-Folk and the four-piece has toured throughout Western Canada delighting festival audiences in years past. As with many acts, they are pumped to be back on stage this weekend and promise a stomping good time. Tickets are $10.

Let Saskatoon’s local comedians tickle your funny bone early next week at Hudsons. This week’s open mic will feature Jill Smith, Jodi Peters, Joel Jeffrey and Dylan J. and organizers are also promising surprise guests. The show is free but you do have to register for tickets. Donations toward the performance are also happily accepted. Masks are suggested and you can be in groups of up to six.
