The kids are off school … NOW WHAT?  Luckily, Wide Open Children’s Theatre has come to the rescue with its fabulous team of puppets. A Wide Open Christmas is a show that follows Jeremiah, a little boy who’s lost his Christmas spirit.  He has some good friends to help him out though as Kate, Jimmy and even Santa are there to help him out. This is a great show for all ages. Ticket are $10 – $15.

TCU Place

Saskatoon’s Fireside Singers are teaming up with celebrated pianist Thomas Yu to present a homecoming holiday concert you won’t forget. This is the 46th Anniversary for this choirs Christmas Memories show and the 100-voice choir will be performing traditional carols as well as songs of peace and love. This is a beautiful show for the whole family. Tickets are $30 – $45.

Coors Events Centre

Saskatoon rock and rollers One Bad Son will be taking the stage with friends this weekend to celebrate the holidays. This is a group that’s shared the stage with acts like Buckcherry, Default and Def Leppard. They will be bringing Saskatchewan acts The Wolfe and Dirty Garden to the stage for a cabaret style show that will be great for you and all your friends who’ve come home just for Christmas. Tickets are $30.

The Barrelmen                      Dec. 27 & 28             

The Bassment

It’s become an annual tradition for Saskatoon based country/rock band The Barrelmen. These guys are a great combination of both genres and these four buddies put on a great show with their banter and antics on stage. It’s another great chance to get your friends together while they are home for the holidays. Tickets for both evenings run $20 – $40.
