From the creators of Frankenstein and Nevermore comes a new dark rock musical from Catalyst Theatre out of Edmonton. It’s called Vigilante and it brings to light the dark Canadian story of the Donnellys. They are a family of six dangerous sons who’ve come back from the dead to relive their own brand of frontier justice. This is an exciting piece of theatre that you simply should see. Tickets are $25.

A story of inclusion and acceptance for your children is hitting the stage at the Children’s Discovery Museum this week. Kids on the Block is a 30 minute puppet show that highlights the stories of kids with disabilities and bullying that many experience. This show is geared to kids age four to 12. and admission is $3.75.

Saskatchewan born Colin James is back at it with a new album and this time he’s paying tribute to the greats that inspired his own career. Blue Highways has already been nominated for a 2017 Juno for blues album of the year. The compilation pays tribute to James’ blues heros like Buddy Guy, Jimmy Reed and Jr. Wells. James will hit the stage in Saskatoon and he’s sure to also bring along his back catalogue. This show is sure to sell out tickets are $30-$60.

Saskatoon songstress Alexis Normand is hitting the road once again in support of her self titled album but before she heads out, she’s got a show at home. Normand is a celebrated performer who sings in both French and English. She’s sharing this bill with Winnipeg singer songwriter Kevin Roy. It’s a great way to get through hump day Wednesday. Tickets are $20 – $25.
