Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink
It’s a chance to ring in the New Year with the whole family. Lace up your skates and head down to the rink by the Bessborough Hotel for a full afternoon and evening of fun. There will be sleigh rides, music and cultural performances and it all ends with a bang, fireworks just after 8:00p.m. off the Broadway Bridge. The best part is it’s absolutely FREE.

Retro Party Dec. 31
Drift Sidewalk Cafe
If New Year’s Eve has you feeling nostalgic, why not head on down to Drift? It’s going to be a smaller party but raucous all the same as you welcome 2017 with a string of hits from the 90’s. The house party will feature Nintendo gaming, throwback karaoke, movies and music. This party has no cover so you’ll want to get there early as space is limited.

Oh What A Night Dec. 31
Cosmo Seniors Centre
If you’re looking to get your groove on this New Year’s Eve then head on down to the Cosmo Seniors Centre for a party with Big Stuff. This 6 piece band features hits from the 60’s and 70’s and it’s sure to get you in the party mood. Big Stuff is known for its performances that everyone can sing along to. Tickets are $50 and the proceeds go towards Creative Kids an organization that funds arts programs for children here in Saskatchewan.

Girl Power Dec. 31
Broadway Theatre
It’s a very vintage New Year’s Eve celebration with Saskatchewan’s darlings Rosie & The Riveters. The groups tight harmonies and cheeky stage show is a safe bet for a ton of fun. The quartet is bringing along some friends for this show. Guest artists will include Eliza Mary Doyle, Belle Plaine and Megan Nash. This is an all ages show and guests are invited to wear their best pearls and strut their stuff in the photo booth. Tickets are $50.
