1 - League of Wolves

LEAGUE OF WOLVES               Apr. 8                    Amigos Cantina

Saskatoon rockers League of Wolves have joined forces with Juno award winner Leot Hanson. He’s the former lead guitarist of The Sheepdogs. They have created a new album and a new sound in the EP Like It Should Be. The band recorded the album in a previously abandoned school near Piapot ,Saskatchewan. They are releasing it to the world Friday. Tickets are $10-$12.

2 - Alberto Ciofani

CORAZON al AIRE Apr. 9      Drinkle3

It’s raw, it’s passionate and it’s all to support local dance. Corazon al Aire is a live flamenco guitar performance happening in the heart of our city. The show is being performed by Alberto Ciofani and it’s all to support Alma Flamenca. The group is putting together a performance of Carmen in June. There will be tapas and a cash bar. Tickets are $20.

3 - Sloan

SLOAN Apr. 10 The Broadway Theatre

Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since I rocked out to these guys but the shine still hasn’t worn off. Sloan is out on the road celebrating their anniversary for 1996s album One Chord to Another. The group will be performing the album in its entirety.

Check out Chris Murphy and the boys on stage at the Broadway Theatre. Tickets are $35.
