The good folks at Bartari think there’s nothing better that street food and that’s why they are bringing the 4th annual Food Truck Wars to the neighbourhood. This the city’s finest food trucks will line 20th St. West and you can sample all their specialty dishes. While you munch with the family, take in the Saskatchewan’s Got Talent variety show and cheer for your favourites in the competitions like the Ultimate Burger Championship. This event is free but make sure you bring your wallet for the tasty treats.

Hot off her debut at the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, Denise Valle is back in her hometown for a gig and she’s bringing a few friends along for the show. Saskatoon based DJ Tefrondon will be spinning his favourite hip hop and R&B tunes and the Samurai Champs will get in on the action to. If you like Motown, R&B and hip hop, this show is for you. Tickets are $10 – $12.

Country Nostalgia            Aug. 2

SaskTel Centre

Country fans will be flocking to SaskTel Centre this week for a band that’s been around for nearly 40 years. The band has continued to wow fans with 23 albums and more than 27 number one hits. “I’m In A Hurry”, “Angels Among Us”, you’ll get a chance to hear the songs that landed this group in the Country Music Hall of Fame live. Tickets are $60 – $216.
