Graceful Rockers      Saturday

O’Brians Event Centre

Juno Award nominations, platinum record sales and tons of radio airplay should cement a band onto the Canadian rock landscape but somehow for Big Wreck, the band never quite reached star status. That’s where having grace comes in. The band is out on the road with its latest offering Grace Street. The album is the fifth work by the rock veterans and there’s no better place to test it out than in clubs across Canada. Saskatoon was lucky enough to be included in those dates. Tickets for Saturday’s show are $30. Click here for more details.

Alternative Facts      Sat. & Sun.

Broadway Theatre

Have you ever been listening to a news story on CBC Radio and thought, “Hmm that doesn’t sound quite right!” well it’s completely possible you were listening to one of the country’s favourite satire shows This Is That. It’s a radio program that takes topics of the day and, under the guise of news, blows them just to the edge of ridiculous. Now audiences will get to experience the comedy of Peter Oldring and Pat Kelly live. It’s a show that doesn’t just report the news, it makes it up! Tickets are $30 and you can get more information by clicking here.
