The Kohkoms are at it again in the 14th installment of The Rez Christmas Story. Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre is presenting Kohkoms In Toyland at the Broadway Theatre for a four-night run. This time Zula, Sihkos and Claire Bear are secretly stealing away to a brand new toy store which has just opened in the North. They want to find the perfect presents for their grandchildren. This is a comedy for the whole family to enjoy. Tickets are $13 – $15.

The Refinery

It’s a chance for you and your little ones to sing at the top of your lungs and dance out all your wiggles. Children’s performer Sylvia Chave is hitting the stage for Holiday Hoopla this Thursday and Friday. These shows are 45mins long and will quickly make fans out of your kids. There are songs, rhymes and plenty of laughter. Two daytime shows to choose from on Thursday 10:30a.m. and 1p.m. and on Friday at 10:30a.m. show. Tickets are $7 – $9 and children 2 and under are free.

It’s time for a little Christmas mayhem brought to you by the puppets of Wide Open Children’s Theatre. A Wide Open Christmas is a puppet performance in a variety show setting. There will be guest appearances by favourite Wide Open characters like Pete and Kate the Great as well as celebrities like Rudolph dropping by. You won’t want to miss this show that will entertain the whole family. The show is 45mins long and there are a variety of daytime performances to choose from so you should be able to work around nap time. Tickets are $10 – $15.

Winter Solstice          Saturday

The Bassment

Warm up those cold winter nights with the smooth sounds of Saskatoon’s vocal jazz masters Solstice. This eight-piece vocal ensemble brings along a full band to keep things swinging. There will be a mix of covers and classics to get you in the festive spirit. Tickets do go quickly so make sure you get a jump on it. They are $23 – $28.
